Did Colin Powell meet Jack Straw at the Waldorf hotel the day before he addressed the UN? And did they both express serious doubts about the veracity of the information Powell was to present? Straw denies it, claiming he didn’t arrive in NY until the day of the speech. Whether the tale of the “Waldorf Transcripts” is true or not, there is mounting evidence that Powell wasn’t happy with the intelligence he was supposed to submit. Or, in his- alleged- own words, “I’m not reading this. This is bullshit.”
