Against- no encore.
For- Almost an hour and a half, pretty much non stop, so it was churlish to expect an encore. The only songs I recognised were Velouria (the opener) and Dirty Old Town (it’s shameful how few people in a Manchester audience sang along) but they all sounded great and now I want to rush out and buy the back catalogue. Plus he’s a lot thinner than when I saw him at Reading. If every performance is this intense, I can see why.
