Mary

I’ve been playing with Illustrator, as I’m thinking of doing some strips in it. First in line, when I get going, is Mary Tales. The eponymous heroine wanders, Amelie like, through the lives of friends and strangers, helping where possible and playing matchmaker, whilst waiting for her prince to arrive. The guy next door seems quite nice……… There’s going to be nudity and sex, but probably not much stronger than 18 certificate rather than XXX rated.

I used Illustrator 8, which doesn’t seem to do transparency at all (unlike v9, which I’m using at college) or else the teddy/ basque would be ever so slightly see through. If I can sort out fills etc. I can see this being a neat way to create some cool ligne claire style art.
