Going Underground
It’s incredible what you can find when you dig up the garden. A large underground bunker, probably a refuge in case of attack, was found by workers at the old Viceregal offices in New Delhi. In a plus ca change kind of way, they were digging up the grounds ready to erect a bombproof wall around the building, now the offices of the Prime Minister.

No Logo, Go Logo
More or less what I was aiming for when I got the spotlight effect
A test to see how far I could go and still have recognisable letters. I wouldn’t go past the third version myself, but you could push it to the fourth I guess.
Two test versions for a new Spinneyhead logo. I went with the top one.
The next bit of the project doesn’t work as well for posting. Oh well

Monday is coursework day. At the moment I’m playing with type, creating a logo from my initials.
Nice and simple use of a negative i against the P.
I like the spotlight effect, but it came about by accident through a bit of Illustrator eccentricity. The effect I’m trying to get is a lot less striking.
