Actually, there are three characters introduced today. Kay appeared, but wasn’t named, in Monday’s strip. Her new boss is DCI Meadows (I have a horrible feeling there’s a character in The Bill by that name). And Tom Irwin is a genuine, for real Deputised Expert.
