Diebold’s voting machines, already considered dubious in the extreme, produce totals and data on a Microsoft Access based system! Now, this isn’t a knee jerk anti Microsoft rant- for a while I made a healthy living getting Access to do some fairly complicated things- but the program just isn’t up to the job. Oracle, or something with equivalently strong security is what you need.
