The Open Street Map project is coming to Manchester this weekend, after mapping the Isle of Wight recently. I want to take part in this, but I don’t have a GPS receiver. Can anyone help me out?

From the BBC article it sounds like there will be spare GPS units available, though I’m not sure who is providing them. Even without a GPS I’m sure there would be lots to do, like collecting metadata such as street names and the like.
