I feel stupid and contagious

Load up on guns
Bring your friends
It’s fun to lose
And to pretend
She’s overboard
Myself assured
I know I know
A dirty word

Hello (x 16)

With the lights out it’s less dangerous
Here we are now
Entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now
Entertain us
A mulatto
An albino
A mosquito
My libido
Yea

I’m worse at what I do best
And for this gift I feel blessed
Our little group has always been
And always will until the end

Hello (x 16)

With the lights out it’s less dangerous
Here we are now
Entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now
Entertain us
A mulatto
An albino
A mosquito
My libido
Yea

And I forget
Just what it takes
And yet I guess it makes me smile
I found it hard
It’s hard to find
Oh well, whatever, nevermind

Hello (x 16)

With the lights out it’s less dangerous
Here we are now
Entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now
Entertain us
A mulatto
An albino
A mosquito
My libido
Yea

Is the Yeti crying?

The Yeti, originally uploaded by spinneyhead.

As the future of Affleck’s Palace is looking very uncertain I felt the need to go there for what could be thae very last time and take some pictures. You’ll find them on Flickr in my Affleck’s Palace set.

I know I only visited once or twice a year for the last few years, but I’d really hate to see Affleck’s go. It’s where I bought my favourite leather jacket and there are loads of things there I know I want to get when I finally have some money.

I can sum it all up in three words: Evolution is a lie

Fundamentalists say the darndest things. You have to be in the right frame of mind to read this. If you’re in the mood to be made angry by moronic bigotry this will probably raise your blood pressure dangerously high. On the other hand, if you want to laugh at a bunch of hypocritical idiots, dive in.

I need shades and a matt black piss pot helmet and then I can go out terrorising motorists.

The Marines take up free running

Royal Navy Marines are incorporating aspects of free running into their training regime. Many of the moves can be performed in full kit (if you’re as fit as a Marine, anyway) and could help maintain momentum and keep a low profile in an urban environment.

It’s a very clever move, and it’s good to see the forces adapting tactics to suit the situations they’re being put in.
