The first draft of Garth Owen’s next novella- 1point1- is in, and the editing and rewriting process has begun.

1point1 takes place in the same story world as GOD Hunt, and one of the characters from that story will be returning. After the dark years of the resource wars, Manchester’s Police force has been stripped down and is being rebuilt as a whole generation of officers have been jailed or forced off the force. The new look force is made up of young officers who have learnt as much from old movies and TV shows as their training.

When Detectives Barker and Ennis start investigating a shooting in an abandoned building, they have very little to go on- until they find that a genetically identical body was discovered two months earlier in another city.
