From Paris With Love. John Travolta does his over the top crazy act again. I can almost forgive him his Scientology and Battlefield Earth
Kick Ass. Based on a comic by Mark Millar, who also created Wanted (the comic
How To Train Your Dragon. Because I’m a sucker for cgi stuff.
Repo Men. Yes it’s got Jude Law in it, but it still looks interesing.
Karate Kid. Yet another remake, but it does have Jackie Chan.
This has been around for a week or two, but I only just went and found a version I could embed.
A Kung Fu transforming robot love story. I get the feeling this would make more sense than Transformers 2 even with the subtitles turned off.

Though I doubt even I could spot myself in either. The shot at the end of the Awaydays trailer, where Carty throws a punch in a bar looks like the scene I spent a day in Birkenhead for.

This year, not only do we get another Transformers movie-
But we also get to see GI Joe on the big screen.
Which seems to be the two male leads from Gavin and Stacey having fun. Much like the cast of Boon did in I Bought A Vampire Motorcycle.
There was some big sporting event overnight in the US. A lot of money was spent on adverts during the game, including a few trailers for films I’ll probably end up listing for Orange Wednesdays.

Not as much as Watchmen, obviously, but X-Men Origins: Wolverine should be full of characters I sort of recognise from back when I was a big Uncanny X-Men fan. io9 has the trailer.
There are a couple of bits in here that haven’t been in other trailers yet. Are any other films opening next March being promoted this heavily?
