Always a shame to see an interesting cafe shut down. I admit I’m too much of an Oklahoma loyalist to have drunk there often, but it was a nice space. And shame on their neighbours. What sort of person moves to the city centre then complains because there’s stuff going on nearby?
I passed this on the way into town, escorted by a bunch of guys on motorbikes. It was well deserving of a quid.

I’d forgotten there was a mini car show in Spinningfields today. Left my camera at home, so I’ll have to make do with the phone.
Maybe if I decapitate Santa and use raspberry sauce as blood….

Restored for Robinson’s brewery. Currently on Albert Square outside the food and drink festival.

It’s flying over Ardwick and Ancoats, possibly heading to buzz the City stadium.

Part of the art and play events going on in the city centre, this hungry hungry hippo was perturbing a few of the children. There was a tiny bus as well, I’ll upload a photo of that later.
Five of them just went past me in Fallowfield, heading south.
I doubt this is the long term solution to my kitchen storage problems, but it’s good that I’ve found a use for the beastie.
I’m going to be boring and buy a bag of S hooks to do the job properly. Then I’ll have to find another job for the little monster.
