Well, I finally got my Housing Benefit cheque over the weekend. Except it was made out to the landlords, which is pointless as Daz is paying the rent by direct debit (I cover my share by paying the bills). Thankfully, if I send them the cheque, they’ll credit the money to me and issue a repayment. Because otherwise I’d have to wait at least another three weeks for the cheque to be reissued with my name on it.

*Sigh*

And, of course, now the College has gone and changed its tune about waiving my fees if I’m on HB. I’ll wait for them to send me another letter about fees and get the paperwork together then and argue the point.
