All the way through the article I had the name Fred Titmus(s) in my head. It seems Fred was an England footballer in 1922-23 (search for capped England players here), an England cricketer between 1955 and 1975 and, more recently, the subject of Fuckin’ ‘ell, It’s Fred Titmus by Half Man, Half Biscuit.
