I’m thinking of writing the The Temp’s Guide to Management, subtitled How to Control the Idiots Who Employ You. Temps, by their nature, get to see lots of different managment styles untainted by the self conciousness of having a researcher around taking notes. It’ll be a joke, of course, ripping into every style of management, but hopefully insightful as well. There’ll be (names changed to protect the stupid) examples from life as well, and possibly cartoons.

Publishers should form an orderly queue.
