I was struggling to find a way to recycle my mountains of plastic milk cartons from Tesco, when I realised I was missing the obvious solution… I got a milkman! http://www.expressdairies.co.uk/ They use old school glass bottles which they collect to re-use hooray!
They even tell you the name of ‘your’ milkman. How quaint.

Over at The Register they’ve been snooping around Google Earth looking for stuff that makes governments unhappy. My personal favourite is the shot of the U2 parked in Gloucestershire.

faster by bike
I don’t think the commute is any shorter by bike in the morning- there’s not that much traffic at the time i come in- but it definitely is in the afternoon.
I hit 23.5 miles per hour this morning, for a very short spurt. I’m going to try to beat it tomorrow.

Time team, or someone similar, are digging up the car park across the road from work, searching for one of manchester’s earliest mills. I’ll have a closer look later.

The crowd in exchange square yesterday afternoon watching the final test. It’s nice that england have won something, i guess. I’m just glad it wasn’t football- i always want england to lose at football- which is the dullest and most overrated sport in the world.
