i exist!
I’ve been at my new job for six weeks (or is it seven?) and they just gave me a logon to the network.
Of course, they haven’t given me access to the folder where all my work is stored, but that’s a little thing isn’t it?

We broke a cardinal rule last night and cycled on the pavement. In our defence it was clare’s first time on a bike since she was fourteen.
More lessons will follow, but as a pedestrian she has already learnt one of the chief survival lessons- there are a significant number of drivers who are morons, therefore it is fair to expect them all to be morons and treat them accordingly.

Put the oil in the coconut…
Coconut oil has proved to be a particularly good biodiesel, not needing the same level of pre-treatment as other biofuels.
Unlike with many biofuels, coconut oil doens’t need to be transesterized – mixed with sodium hydroxide and alcohol to change its chemical composition – to run in a diesel engine. Filtered and warmed to temperatures about 25C, coconut oil is a better than satisfactory substitute for “mineral diesel” – it burns more slowly, which produces more even pressure on engine pistons, reducing engine wear, and lubricates the engine more effectively.
