We broke a cardinal rule last night and cycled on the pavement. In our defence it was clare’s first time on a bike since she was fourteen.
More lessons will follow, but as a pedestrian she has already learnt one of the chief survival lessons- there are a significant number of drivers who are morons, therefore it is fair to expect them all to be morons and treat them accordingly.
