The Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust said up to 25% of voters said they “might vote” for the far-right party.
The BNP said the report reflected voter “tension” about multi-cultural Britain.
It sounds more like stupidity to me. If you’re angry at the way the main parties are running the country the last thing to do is vote in a bunch who could only be worse.
I’m probably voting Green in the local elections. But I need to know a bit more about who’s standing.

“If you’re angry at the way the main parties are running the country the last thing to do is vote in a bunch who could only be worse.”
Well, I would sooner see the BNP win and give the main parties a good kick up the backside than watch as people just turn-off from politics altogether, and the main parties are free to totally disengage from the people they are supposed to SERVE.
As for voting Green, good plan. Personally, I think voting BNP would send a stronger signal to the current political elite that they need to start facing facts.
A stronger signal, but far too negative. I’d rather Labour and the Tories got the message that they’re not doing enough about the environment than that they’re not racist enough.
