Linka World

My father may still have my old Linka set. It’s a great system for building scale structures where you buy moulds and cast detailed sections of brick wall, doors and other architectural features which can then be glued together. I thought the system was long gone from the market, but no, you can still buy moulds from Linka World.

NaNo NaNo

Every year I say that I should be taking part in National(?) Novel Writing Month, and so far, every year, I don’t.

So, this year, as I’m back in the swing of this writing thing, I’m going to give it a go. I’m going to ressurect Post & Publish and try to do another 50,000 words for it. Update It appears that plan is against the rules, which is annoying, because that’s where my inspiration lies at the moment.

Either way, I’m going to start posting fiction here again, starting with the first draft of So Much To Answer For, the crime story I wrote whilst working on the helpdesk. I’m also going to publish it on Spinneyhead’s First Drafts, a blogspot blog just for my fiction.

More pole dancing problems

If you are going to buy a Peekaboo Pole Dancing Pole (aff), just remember to keep the physics of its use in mind, and look out for the wall. Also, remember that it is still not a toy, so for the love of God, think about the children! (But don’t go too far into the Mail’s comments section if you want to retain your sanity.)
