There’s uncertainty over the future of Affleck’s Palace. The lease with Bruntwood is up for renewal in June, but there has been no notice of what they intend to do at that point. The building could be re-developed or the rents could go up drastically, either of which would lead to the death of one of Manchester’s most important cultural icons.
I don’t shop there often, I’m too poor to shop anywhere much, but I’d hate to see it go.
They can’t destory Afflecks! It was bad enough when they shut the Collesium (cr*p my spelling is getting worse).
