The US government believes it is perfectly acceptable to kidnap foreign nationals and transport them to America for trial. This is a continuation of the old rules of bounty hunting. Apparently it’s legal because the Supreme Court says so and American law trumps the laws of any country they choose to kidnap from.
I don’t think I broke any laws whilst I was over there……
