  umm, with the beam across the top it looks like it might be some kind of loading recess- i forget the real name for that,or if the building was once more enclosed, maybe it is a light well, although it doesnt exactly look like one…

  It’s on Talbot Road near to Old Trafford and was taken the same day it was posted.
