    Given that Rats can smell cancer, and we do select mates based off physical attraction (at a base level), surely they have just argued for evolution…

    Besides, due to the technological advances in medicine, Humans have less need to evolve for biological defence these days.

    Also, there is a disease which cuts your life expectancy down to around 30, but the upshot is you are immune from Malaria. Guess what, it prevelent in a culture which has a problem with malaria

    spoof source but even so evolution is going down the pan as with medical advances meaning we stay alive longer, more genetic diseases are being passed on and infavourable traits are therefore not being breeded out.
