It’s my job to finish Whitehaven station, originally uploaded by spinneyhead.

This is the model of Whitehaven station, some time in the fifties or sixties, for my Dad’s railway layout. My sister drew up the blueprint, I designed the 3D printed windows and doors and Dad built it. It’s about 95% complete.

Dad passed away this morning- peacefully, at home and surrounded by his family. The next few days, and all the way to the New Year are going to be hard and busy, but after that I intend to do the last little bits to complete it.
