The Michael Moore documentary “Fahrenheit 9/11” has been bought by a leading British distributor, Optimum Releasing, for release there this summer, Reuters reported, citing The Financial Times. The Walt Disney Company has refused to allow its Miramax division to distribute the film, which is critical of President Bush’s actions before and after Sept. 11, 2001. . . .

So, anyway, apologies to residents of Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wyoming– the states we couldn’t name off the top of our heads. Columbia, New England, Philadelphia, Wichita and Baltimore aren’t states. They just have delusions of grandeur.

And before any American visitors get smug, I challenge them to name as many European countries as possible.

Declining respect for American cultural values exacerbated by the crisis in Iraq is having a potentially disastrous effect on the image of US brands such as McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Nike and Microsoft, a new worldwide study of consumer attitudes has found.

Abstinence only sex education programmes don’t work. Which should be obvious to anyone with half a brain, but has completely passed by the fools who moan about sex education being evil.
