Ticketing SUVs

The Alliance Against Urban 4x4s have a bunch of “Poor Driving Choice” parking tickets available for download or purchase. I saw one of those stupid Mitsubishi half-cab pickup monstrositys being displayed in the Printworks yesterday and wanted to find a way to erect a sign saying “There are cheaper ways to prove you’re an idiot.” in front of it.

by imbal's iron pizzle!

I’m reading some old school fantasy- the goblin tower by l sprague de camp– and loving the ludicrous curses. Imbal seems to have been made of metal, for he is also possessed of a bronzen arse and brazen balls (though that might just mean they’re a bit rude or forthright, leaping out in public and loudly proclaiming their right to do all the things balls do).

Key Keywords

I’m not in the habit of chasing the highest paying keywords for my Adsense ads, and this list of the highest paying keywords shows why. They’re all unbelievably dull.

Bring a bike if you have one, MAX fare, bike lights, and any saftey gear you want to wear. You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks but you must clean up everything you bring with you. Its a good time and you WILL have fun!

Union not-so-Pacific

The Union Pacific railroad is suing a model company for breach of copyright because their logo appears on scale rolling stock. Lots of aerospace and military corporations are trying to shake down model companies for exorbitant licencing fees, and now the railways are getting in on the act.

It’s time for companies to start bringing out really obscure subjects and creating their own pretend corporations to use them.

Platial

Every so often I get an urge to mark Spinneyhead related spots on a map. I’ve not had the patience to sit doiwn and build my own map hack, so I keep trying out services like Platial. I’m just off to register and see if it’s what I’ve been waiting for.

This Wired article pointed me in Platial’s direction.

Update I’ve started mapping all of Spinneyhead’s photos on Platial, and embedded the map in the photo gallery. Can’t quite get it to go all the way and show you the location of the current photo, though.

Update update I’ve taken the embedded map off the gallery page and simply linked back to it because it was a bit ugly where it was.
