Okay, maybe the bullet and stab-proof raincoat isn’t absolutely essential, but someone has to knit me some Space Invader socks.
A great way to commute
Whilst waiting on Piccadilly on Wednesday I just happened to look out and see a hot air balloon. When I went outside to photograph it it turned out to be part of a flight of four drifting through clear blue skies over Manchester. It was just gorgeous in so many ways.
And earlier that day I found some more Space Invaders. I’ve posted one photo already (to Flickr), here’s the other.

Can’t help thinking this is old news, but considering Ian’s put one of these in Discontinuous Infill, I figure it may be new to some. If you look closely enough, you may find a few Space Invaders around Manchester and a few other cities.

The Martians are coming! The MEN is certainly on the ball. I posted a picture of a tile Space Invaders in May 2003, though by the look of things, these ones are bigger.
