I’m not sure, yet, what the publishing schedule will be on this. But patrons will get to see them first.

Cocaine in rivers is harming endangered eels, which is bad news. But, having read a few 70s and 80s horror paperbacks, I can’t help but take the idea in a different direction, and imagine drug-crazed river life besieging the country.
I thought it would be a good idea to collect together a list of the various places you can find my creations, so you can see all the cool things I’ve created, and buy loads of them.
Books
The obvious place to start. Under my own name, I’m selling on Amazon and Smashwords. These are the two shops I upload to directly, but Smashwords also distributes them to Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and more. They’re also available from Apple iBooks, but I can’t link directly to my books, I think you’ll need an account to search for me. Do a search on your favourite ebook shop, and you’ll probably find me. If your local library gets their ebooks through a service called Overdrive, you can borrow my books from them.
As Garth Owen, I’m on Amazon and Smashwords. And, of course, there’s also Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and more. They’re also on Apple iBooks, and others. He’s on Overdrive as well.
I have two other pen-names, for naughtier stuff. Mary Tales (Amazon, Smashwords, B&N, Kobo), and May Slater (Amazon, Smashwords, B&N, Kobo). Several of May’s books are exclusive to Amazon.
Patreon
As well as this Patreon, I also have one for Mary Tales. It has two tiers, instead of three, and patrons get to see my current work in progress, and early access to a comic I’m creating over there as well.
Art, Design, and Photos
I use Redbubble to sell my designs and photographs printed on clothes, cards, and more.
Hand made and physical items are available from my Zibbet shop, which includes cool vintage stuff I’ve found, as well as my own creations.
My 3D designs, mostly modelling components, can be ordered from Shapeways. I started out creating bits I needed for my own and my father’s projects, but I’m expanding the range now based upon input from other modellers. If you have something particular you’d like to see built, drop me a line on the site.
Vintage and Collectible
Zibbet isn’t the only place where I sell interesting old stuff. I’ve got several listings for old postcards and other cool stuff on Delcampe. The front page of my shop could be better laid out, but it’s a good auction site once you get into it.

Patreon
If you’d like to help keep my cash flow level as I create the stuff you love, then you can support me on Patreon. Patrons at the basic level ($1 a month) get to see my current work-in-progress as it develops. There are also $2.50 and $20 a month levels. $2.50 gets you early access to the comic I’m working on, and ebooks when they’re published. $20 supporters will get signed paperbacks. The more support I can get, the more time I can give to the projects, and supporters will get more stuff, faster.

I’m starting to create a new comic, so I’ve been digging around in old drives, looking for previous projects. With Mortal Engines in cinemas now (or soon, I’ve lost track), it was interesting to find this little sequence I drew a few years ago. It never went any further, I was just playing with putting images onto postcards.
If you would like to make a longer term commitment to supporting my comics, check out my Patreon page. Supporters get early access to comics and novels, and can get other rewards as well.
“Your boss seemed more…. amiable than I’d been led to expect.” Irwin commented from the back seat.
Kay and Leanne shared a quick look. “He wasn’t as angry about you being there as I expected.” Kay admitted.
“I think he shat himself when you pulled out your gun, though.” Leanne added, with a smirk.
“Yes, but that’s an appropriate reaction. I always shit myself when Irwin pulls out his gun. It’s meant he’s got me into a dangerous situation, all the other times.” Kay’s expression suggested that even she couldn’t believe she was joking about it.
“He has a reputation, and it’s deserved, but, when the case is big enough, he can be professional enough.” Leanne offered.
“I suppose so. I’ve never taken the time out to think about it. But it does become about using us all as efficiently as possible when there’s a big case on. The rest of the time, though…. I mean, he did almost blow this investigation apart right at the very start because of an old grudge.” Kay shook her head.
“What happened?” Irwin asked. They had a bit of a drive ahead of them, particularly with the heavy traffic they were stuck in, and he wanted some gossip to pass the time.
So Kay and Leanne told him about Campbell’s encounter with Joe and Rachel at the crime scene. Then Kay recounted Joe’s history with the Police. As it was the second time in as many days, she found herself warming to the subject, and adding joking asides.
“I think I’d like to meet these two.” Irwin concluded when the story was over.
“I’m sure you will, if you insist on hanging around with us until this is all over.” Kay conceded. “Joe Wilkinson is almost as much of a trouble magnet as you are. I think you’ll get along wonderfully.”
There’s a Police station not far from Burton Road, but I decided that the Serious Crimes squad would be based in the GMP headquarters. So I took a bike ride out there, to get a picture.
The North Manchester Police headquarters is just across the road- to the right of this photo, in a smaller, but similar looking, building. I wonder if there’s any rivalry between the two blocks?
I only took this photo, and didn’t have a wander around to get a closer look at the layout of the site, because I was nervous about explaining what I’m writing. If enough of you buy the book, I can use its best seller status as a way to talk them into giving me a tour.

The death in A Death In Didsbury happens on Burton Road. Maybe this part, maybe further up, I’m deliberately vague about the precise location of On The Wall.
Burton Road has changed a fair bit since I first lived in the area, undergoing a sort of hipster gentrification. I miss the family butchers and the lovely deli that used to be there. The Canadian Charcoal Pit is a bit of a throwback, and looks out of place in the road’s new style.
